Simple Garlic Butter Scallop Recipe

You might have a soft spot for scallops whenever you’re out to eat, but have you ever tried making them at home? This Scallop recipe is an excellent way to start.
You’ll probably be surprised to find that it calls for only 5 ingredients, 5 minutes of preparation time, and under 10 minutes to cook. Now, that’s our idea of a scrumptious, but simple, seafood dinner!
1 pound of scallops - from Great American Intl. Seafood Market
Oil of choice to coat the pan
Salt & Pepper to taste
Garlic Scampi Butter - available at Great American Intl. Seafood Market
Scallions to Garnish
Lemon, freshly squeezed to taste
1. Season Scallops with Salt & Pepper to taste 2. Working in batches, add scallops to a preheated oiled skillet in a single layer and cook, flipping once, until golden brown and translucent in the center, about 1-2 minutes per side. Set aside and keep warm. 3. Add Garlic Scampi Butter in the pan for the last minute of cooking, baste the scallops with melted butter. 4. Plate scallops with fresh scallions & fresh squeezed lemon juice.
